In May 2007, the GDC entered into a new joint venture agreement with MMM Geomatics Limited, formerly Usher Canada Limited, to create Gwich’in Geomatics.
With over 70 years of national and international experience, MMM Geomatics Limited represents a company with initiative and eagerness to create new opportunities for Gwich’in beneficiaries. In this partnership agreement, they will provide beneficiaries with business opportunities, training, technical expertise and equipment.
Gwich’in Geomatics offers comprehensive professional geomatics services to any individual, business or level of government who owns or leases land in the Gwich'in Settlement Area:
