Mackenzie Aboriginal Corporation (MAC) is an aboriginal-owned company that was created to ensure local residents and communities benefit from the development of the Mackenzie Valley Gas Pipeline. By utilizing aboriginal and northern businesses in all project contracts to the fullest extent possible and offering competitive labour and equipment rates for local aboriginal contractors, MAC delivers value to the landowners, clients and partners.
Each partner is a leader in their respective field, contributing skilled expertise, resources, proven safety records, traditional knowledge and ambition to the team. Human resource specialists offer apprenticeship-training opportunities for interested and qualified Gwich'in beneficiaries on construction projects in southern Canada. This way, MAC can confidently and competitively participate in large construction projects occurring in the Gwich’in Settlement Area and ensure each stage is a success.
